Ham Family Homesteads in Perry County, Alabama. These were U.S. Land Patents issued under the authority of the Homestead Act of May 20, 1862. Original Ham family homesteads are depicted on the appropriate section of the Perry county map, as well as notes and further links to a complete listing of adjacent U.S. Land Patents issued within the same township & range (36 square miles) in northeastern Perry county. For more extended family research, there is also a link to a Perry County grid map depicting surveyed townships & ranges for Perry County with quick reference links to all U.S. Land Patents issued within each mapped area. Additionally, there is a further link to a map plot which shows the U.S. Land Patents which had previously been issued to William J. Ham and his mother Rebecca in southeastern Randolph County, Alabama in 1851 & 1852.
