Evelyn McDonald Evelyn "Granny" McDonald, age 78, of Redwater, Texas, died
Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. McDonald was born May 14,
1931 in Redwater, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Redwater. She was retired
from Red River Army Depot and a member of First Baptist Church Redwater, a
member of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Wadley Auxillary. She was
preceded in death by her husband: EJ "Mac" McDonald, her parents: Guy and
Audrey Spencer, and two brothers: Ralph and Walter Spencer. She is survived
by one daughter: Judy Lee of Redwater, Texas, four grandchildren and their
spouses: Ken and Sarah Robinson, Nathan and Jennifer Robinson, Nick and
Rhiannon Covington, and Kolby Lee, five great-granddaughters: Mackenzie
O'Brian, Lexie "Gran's Little Hero" Robinson, Keegan Robinson, Lainey Robinson,
and Carlee Robinson, two brothers: James D. Spencer of Zavalla, TX and Carrol
Lee Spencer of Redwater, TX , two sisters: Marjorie Black and Wanda Scott of
Redwater, TX , three special caregivers: Rena Taylor, Anita "NeNe" Fischer, and
Louise Gibson, and two special cousins: Glenn and LuNan Spencer and a number
of other relatives. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at First Baptist Church
Redwater with Rev. Cranford Graves and Rev. Kevin Myers officiating. Burial will
be under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home in Redwater Cemetary. Those
wishing to memorialize Mrs. McDonald may make contributions to the Shriner's
Hospital, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana 71103 or to UAMS, 4301 West
Markham, Little Rock.

and Guy Spencer; granddaughter of Henry Theodore Hamm and Harriet
"Hattie" Milviney Williams; and great-granddaughter of William J. Ham and
